PSYCRETS : British Society of Mystery Entertainers
We are a private association for the specialist performer in the realm of mentalism, bizarre magick, hypnotism, storytelling, readings, spiritualist performance and allied mystery entertaining crafts.
PSYCRETS : Aims & Objectives
The Society aims to provide a formal space for mentalists and mystery entertainers to share ideas and enhance the art of mystery entertainment. Bi-annually we sponsor a physical ‘Tabula Mentis’ meeting which includes lectures, discussion of effects, methods, tools of the trade, the business side and trade in member products.
Membership benefits include a lapel badge and membership card, access to ‘members only’ web pages and Inner Psycrets forum, plus discounts and other bonuses relating to mentalism, bizarre magick and mystery entertainment events and products. Other projects are also in the pipeline
The British Society of Mystery Entertainers is a purely private, non-profit and, non-denominational society , which has no association to any organised form of occult practices, and operates a tolerant policy of non-discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, sexual orientation, political views or any other categories of social identity.
Whilst based in the UK, the society’s membership is international. We welcome applications for consideration for further members from around the world. For further details see our Polices page
